1993 PEUGEOT 205 STDT GREEN - Full 12 Months MOT !

Here we have my Trusty Peugeot 205 STDT.

I have owned numerous different Peugeot Cars and this little Gem of a 205 STDT is one of two 205's that are still in my collection.

This has just been MOT'd, So has 12 Months MOT until Jan 2013 !!

When i first bought the car a few years ago myself and my best friend who are both Pug 205 Buffs had it in my garage and done a list of jobs to do to put and bring back to how it should be as it was when it left the factory !

Also for piece of mind we done a second list of jobs that we felt needed doing.

This is a list of some of the jobs that we have done from memory. I do have lots and lots of receipts etc from items purchased but i dont have it with me at the moment as all the paperwork is kept at my fathers house along with my collection in the Barn.

Sourced STDT Alloys x 5 Fitted with New Kuhmo Tyres (about 1/3 worn at present)   ( Had 1.9 GTi Alloys Fitted when i bought it)

New Drop Links Both Sides at Front N/S & O/S

New Discs & Pads

New Front Suspension Arm / Leg N/S & O/S

New Wiper Blades

New Battery

New Rear Silencer

Cam Belt Kit Fitted 5k miles ago

New Rear Beam to Body Bushes

New Genuine Driving Lamps

New Genuine Front Mud-Flaps

I have probobly missed items out so if i can and get chance as i remember i will add to the listing.

This is on SORN and has just be MOT'd only needing One Piece of the rear section of Brake Pipe replacing  to pass, So the lucky winning bidder will have 12 months hassle free motoring at least !

The STDT stands for "Sports Trim Turbo Diesel".

Basically its the same as a GTi with the seat sponge shapes, wheel arch extension kit, front and rear bumpers, Sunroof and Style of Dashboard etc, Just a different colour designated to the STDT range.

This is also a 3 Door and also a Right Hand Drive Model (UK Spec !).

The Seats are a Nice Velour Type Material with NO Nasty Stains or Cigarette Burns in them and also the Seat Shoulders are in great as new condition with NO collapsing !!

The Complete Interior is A1 Condition for its age and cannot fault it at all, Everything is there and working as it should be, Even the courtesy lamps are working on both front sunvisors !!

The Exterior is resectable, The wheels are clean but not mint, Dont forget that she is 19 years old and has seen 125k miles worth of tarmac !

It averages around 45-50 MPG on a normal run, better obviously on a long run and marginally less around the town.

FULL 12 MONTHS MOT !!!!!

The Temptation is there to drive it as the Turbo does not Lagg any performance and when you hear it whistle you just turn the stereo off and keep listening to that whistle with a big grin on your face !

There are a couple of small car park dinks and scrathes etc but nothing to worry about.

There is some laquer bubble as normal on Metallic Peugeot Paintwork just across the top edge of the boot lid and just a bit below the rear window, Dont get me wrong its not flaking off like some pugs that i have been to look at but im just being honest and trying not to waste your time aswel as mine.

There is a light graze on the rear n/s quarter from the garage door frame, there is NO major caving in of the rear quarter and door, just a slight dent and paint graze and i could of polished it up and rubbed green wax etc into it but im not hiding anything.

Im in the PEUGEOT SPORT OWNERS CLUB as i have a Mint 1991 205 1.9 GTi Show Standard Car Also which i will be selling also very soon, So please Do Not Insult me by offering me a couple of hundred pounds as i will not reply to you. If i dont get the start bid price it will stay in my barn for a future investment and i will just get it MOT'd every year.

These are Very Very Rare now and are so easy to work on and get the bits new and used with great performance, Fuel Economy and i even insure it as a Classic with Peter Best for £140 per year Comprehensive !!

Im a mature gent and this 205 has been put back to its former glory by me as its an enjoyment and then the pleasure to drive.

Only selling as bought a Bigger Family Car and My Toys must go !   :(
